I swear the Appearance and Detailing board is starting to suck lately with all the 3 year old behavior on here.

Now, to the question at hand. Personally I like my hood (and I admit to being biased):

and a new view I just got scanned, and shows the louvers quite well:

Anyway, here's a picture of my ood:

Hey Jim, the fence on the right in that picture appears to be trying to spell out HELP or something. That's pretty cool.

EDIT; I am not acting like a three-year-old. Three-year-olds can't spell!

I like the smaller of the ram air hoods on a Pontiac car and the SS style hood on the Camaros. I like the smaller of the Ram Air hoods mainly because it can be made functional. I think the Ram Air II hood is a bit too far back to allow room to put an airbox in there and still have room for plumbing to the throttle body.... Either way, the ram air hoods just look like the $hit on a Pontiac.....

Im biased too, Id have to go with Lances hood over all. But, good luck getting one for your cars guys

The SS hood is a close 2nd to Lances and the BB hood is also awesome on camaros.

I like all of the Ram Air hoods, as long as they are on Pontiacs. A RAII hood on a camaro looks silly to me. But, thats just my opinion.

make up your mind.. first you like them. then they look like $hit... which one is it

and about the comment of them not being functional (RAII hoods) mine is perfectly functional. And has all the room for plumbing straight to the TB through the maf; complete with water draining baffle setups. so don't say it can't be done.

personally i like the big block hood, i just got mine a week or two ago from year one, it was made by ascd. with shipping to my door it was 520.00. it was a really good fit and comes black. it has a three and a half inch cowl, but the front slot isnt functional, you have to have it cut out.

Really? Sweet! I hadn't heard if that was possible or not with the RAII hoods... So how exactly did you get yours to work? Like what airbox and plumbing did you use to get it all set up? I would definately go with the RAII hood since it can be made functional... But, like I was saying, both of the Ram Air hoods look awesome on Pontiacs ......

Personally I don't like any third gen with dual stripes espec. if it has hood louvers, its just my opinion. Something about the car makes me go nah, and if you have t-tops then totally out of the quection. I have contemplated this often. Also I do like un4givens pic, the scoop looks nice and you dont see much. Now I am curious about those headlights, now they look out of place but yet I am drawn to them. Where are they from

If you're referring to the black Camaro, that would be mine. The headlights are Pilot truck foglights. Fairly easy to install and bright!

personally i like the big block hood, i just got mine a week or two ago from year one, it was made by ascd. with shipping to my door it was 520.00. it was a really good fit and comes black. it has a three and a half inch cowl, but the front slot isnt functional, you have to have it cut out.

</font>

mine came gray, but im cutting the whole out now, if you make it functional, leave something in the center or it will be 2 weak, thats my prolem now
