Hey I like that pic of the third gen with that cowl hood that looks like a Viper. I mean come on Vipers are bad a** too. Ya know. I just have to give it up to you. Awesome.
I like the SS hood or a small cowl. Just my opinion though.

I like the smaller of the ram air hoods on a Pontiac car and the SS style hood on the Camaros. I like the smaller of the Ram Air hoods mainly because it can be made functional. I think the Ram Air II hood is a bit too far back to allow room to put an airbox in there and still have room for plumbing to the throttle body.... Either way, the ram air hoods just look like the $hit on a Pontiac.....

I got mine from A.S.C.D. they have alot of nice hoods for thirdgens,, http://www.americansportscar.com
I'd have to say for the firebirds and T/A's the RAM AIR is my favorite and for the camaros,,that cowl hood with the louvers is the nicest I've seen (Blue502)

make up your mind.. first you like them. then they look like $hit... which one is it
and about the comment of them not being functional (RAII hoods) mine is perfectly functional. And has all the room for plumbing straight to the TB through the maf; complete with water draining baffle setups. so don't say it can't be done.

huh, what the f*ck is traction?!
personally i like the big block hood, i just got mine a week or two ago from year one, it was made by ascd. with shipping to my door it was 520.00. it was a really good fit and comes black. it has a three and a half inch cowl, but the front slot isnt functional, you have to have it cut out.

Really? Sweet! I hadn't heard if that was possible or not with the RAII hoods... So how exactly did you get yours to work? Like what airbox and plumbing did you use to get it all set up? I would definately go with the RAII hood since it can be made functional... But, like I was saying, both of the Ram Air hoods look awesome on Pontiacs ......

matt.. involved custom fabb'ing a baffle setup out of fiberglass, then fabbing an air intake box liek the 4th gen OE ones (ra oe boxes..) it is a clean install, and it looks stock. i'll definately have to get some pics up...

Nice pics. Maby I haven't been visiting often enuff but I would say some of you have been holding out on us, shame on you! Oh yeah, a couple more things Unforgiven-those head lights are just evil looking, very cool! That vette carndriver posted should be recycled, and where on earth did that blue and white hood come from thats the nicest one I've seen.
While i will let blue502 really answer, but good luck finding one, he is trying to track down the guy who made that one, so he can get a second one to put on his IROC.
Personally I don't like any third gen with dual stripes espec. if it has hood louvers, its just my opinion. Something about the car makes me go nah, and if you have t-tops then totally out of the quection. I have contemplated this often. Also I do like un4givens pic, the scoop looks nice and you dont see much. Now I am curious about those headlights, now they look out of place but yet I am drawn to them. Where are they from

If you're referring to the black Camaro, that would be mine. The headlights are Pilot truck foglights. Fairly easy to install and bright!

mine came gray, but im cutting the whole out now, if you make it functional, leave something in the center or it will be 2 weak, thats my prolem now
