What about the camaros with the other style gauges? Do you have a template for them too? I'd sure like 'em.

well, I haven't tried my hand on the others. I just made one specific to my own application. I moved the "redline" up since the actual rev limiter engages @ 6200 ish. I have a 145 mph speedo, and snuck the camaro logo in the speedo since my tripodometer doesn't work.

and the pic isn't the correct size. I downsized all the gauges 55% to get them to fit on a 800x600 image. so to get the correct size, d/l my file.

to get other templates use un4givin89's site.
mike, you really should stick a link yo your white face gauges site.

I used his templates actually.

no, but if I'm on the freeway..... lol

no it's whre the bulb for the "brights" are. I cut out white on the inside on the bowtie, so when my hi-beams are on, the bowtie lights up.

and if you haven't noticed all the numbers and all are tinted slightly orange cuz my needles are orange. the screws and the rest of the needle that is black from the factory has been painted white, so it looks custom/stock.

BTW anybody have a spare speedometer needle laying around?

Hi, you guys probably think I am stupid for asking this but I don't get the whole template thing, does that mean we can just print them out and slap them on our guages?

Their good, but GM wouldn't print em. You only see red letter gausges on German cars because color blind people cannot read em. Plus yellow and blue are the most legible in the dark.

I like em! But I like mine to (a little bit biased their) Here are mine (in link, stupid Geocities):

check out office max or something like that. I have whiteface gauges in my car now, but not my updated version. the thing is I used photo quality paper, and it's been four months, and the heat from the lights in the cluster has caused the paper to dry out and begin to crinkle a bit, the speedo and tach are pretty good yet, but the small gauges are by far the worst because they are so small. part of it is alway what kind of adhesive you use to hold em' down. I am going to try a paper that they sell @ office max that you can use for stickers. i think that'll work cuz it'll be glossy, thin, and it'll stick real well all around. one of the problems I had was because the paper was so thick. the oil psi gauge and the fuel gauge were never right. the fuel would drop like a mother, and the oil wouldn't move as freely.

yeah, but you might not want to use regular ol' paper, the crispness and quality just isn't there.

oh yeah, colin, your links don't work.

office max does sell a paper that you can make decals on (clear behind it.)

I don't know how that'll work being backlit. you could have it on white, and have the numbers just be an outline, cuz then the light'll still shine through and be seen. that's a good question. I've never seen it done on a backlit gauge. maybe they use a real thin plastic film where the number is to give them color, and to still be able to light up.

I haven't had any problems with my white gauges, other than the things I broke, such as my speedo needle and the paint i used on my needles faded pink .

I just bought a 145mph cluster to replace my broken one, and I'll be adding a new set of white face overlays soon enough. After I have perfected it.

The odd thing is, on my old computer I could print the things out fine and never had a problem resizing them, like many of you write me about. BUt on this new one, ****ing A I dunno what I did differently...
