Ok everyone... There was only 10 convertibles nominated this month, and usually we take the members with the most nominations to be put into the voting, but with the low amount of cars nominated I'm gonna put them all in.

I gotta vote for shr00m on this one. I am normally a Camaro guy, but the wheels, color, and stance are SICK! Looks like a lowrider.

Re: May 2013 COTM ** VOTING**
Well, I guess I'll be the first to ***** out my car.
I picked it up just a hair under a decade ago, and I'm sure I'll be buried in this thing. In 240k miles I've used it for everything. I've hauled lumber, motors, axles. It's gone from bone stock 305TPI/autotragic/drum car to an LSx/t56/disc car and currently under the knife getting a front mount single turbo and fully ducted radiator and reverse cowl hood. I've totaled it twice. I've gone through a few motor combos, a few brake combos, a few suspension, brake and wheel setups. I rebuilt the t56 when I wishbone'd the 3-4 shift fork. As much money as I've spent on this car, it's far from a checkbook build. I trade, barter and search for deals. I've turned every single bolt on this car, from the gas tank straps, to the steering column supports, to the convertible top pivots, to each fender support brackets. Anyone that's met me in person knows this car is an obsession. I drive it rain, snow, sleet, and of course in the sun. And 99% of that time the top is down! I get people asking me all the time whether it even has a roof because I'm always driving around in the rain with the top down. This is Washington afterall. If I didn't drive it in the rain I'd only get to enjoy a few weeks a year! I'm not sure I could even remember the entire mod list if I tried.
And, as it sits right now... I haven't driven it in a quite awhile. Hopefully I'll get it back on the pavement this summer.

Im doing this from my phone so I will post other pics later. Heres a video though.
Its a pretty thouroughly built car from the ground up. A shortened version of the parts list is in my sig, but the main parts are the 370 LS2, T56, and Ford 8.8".

Re: May 2013 COTM ** VOTING**
Wow, doing this made me go through a lot of old pictures and even some videos. I've got some funny stuff!
Don't mind me, just need to get some wood for some garage shelves. The best part about this is I got into a little race with a g35 and smoked him getting on the freeway. How bad are you going to feel if you get beat by a car full of wood?
Back near stock I had a ball joint castle nut disappear on me. The officer wanted to tow me. I told him no! I have a friend bring a floor jack and he helped me push the car to the side of the road so I could replace the nut!
Awhile back I found a great deal on another LSx motor so I went to go pick it up.
And two vids;
First video is after I totaled the car. This is about the 3rd start up ever with the LSx motor before I took it to the body shop to fix. I drove it to the shop like this!
Second is a short romp onto the freeway when I started playing with the GoPro.
Alright....enough reminiscing. I just spewed pictures all over this place. Haha.

I definitely have to vote for Ian's Trans Am. I normally don't' like verts but I love his car and everything he's doing to it, and it seems that we almost always have the same taste in mods.

I've never been a huge fan of vets, BUT this is a tough decision because all of them just look so good!
regardless of who i choose, these are definitely some prime examples of the Vert side of things!

BADNBLK I did get your pm...thanks. Against some great cars here.
Some stats on the car nothing crazy, LO3 700r4. Suspension components consist of spohn wonderbar, lca, panhard, edlebrock brace, and tokico blues/suspension techniques springs. Center exit exhaust (custom w/flowmaster can), recaros, alpine audio, baer track, hawks vert bar, goodmark hood and running 18x8/18.9.5 ridler wheels. 3rd 3rd gen i had out of 4 in total and only 1 i plan on keeping.
Pics:
with my long gone '92 factory l98/ttop bird
ctw wheels photoshoot pic (currently photocar for ctw ad in chp and camaroperformers mag)
old calendar pic (sorry for the resolution)

Re: May 2013 COTM ** VOTING**
Gotta vote for Iansane... perfect stance, love the color scheme, and the obligatory LSx/T56... and the fact that it's daily driven makes it twice as cool!
1320B4U's car is extremely sharp as well. The paint scheme looks totally sweet and i really like the style and fitment of the CTW's! The black ones with the roll bar and the stripes contrast really well in that second picture.
Stiff competition though, lots of clean cars and they all have the perfect street thirdgen stance.

iansane - very funny. I do not have a pickup truck so I also occasionally will use the convertible to haul bulky items such as a chair or a potted tree.
But I voted for the 350 Formula convertible. That's one exotic tropical bird.

Ian's car for sure! I have ridden in this car with the naturally aspirated 5.3L and it is pure awesomeness! And just wait until he gets the turbo install finished! Ian has been a good friend for many years and it would be super cool to see his car get COTM!
