I've had these for a while, but didn't get a chance to upload them until now. The only changes to the car that I've made since the pictures were taken was VHT spray-on taillight blackouts; I also put on some nicer exhaust tips.
I was surprised how reflective the car was in these pics, considering I washed it like a week beforehand. I can't wait to try some Zaino on it next spring...
Nice Iroc. That metallic blue is a beautiful color. I had an 85 Iroc that was that same color and it was an eye-catcher. Keep up the good work.

vortech305: The car actually came with the engine compartment detailed with the hoses like that. I kinda like them; when I drop in my ZZ4 in I'll probably do it in different colors... I'm thinking black and yellow. Someone on here had a compartment done up like that, and I thought it looked really nice.
Yep, it's on its way to becoming my daily driver. I'm going to have it put away this winter, but next year I'll be driving it constantly. I still manage to get a good bit of usage from it, however. Only has 68,000 miles on it.
Swede: I would imagine that the tanks are relatively new; however, I didn't replace them. I'm the fourth owner of the car (kinda amazing IMO), but the second owner put it into a lot of car shows... it's probable that he replaced the tanks because of that. It didn't see much use with the third owner so they're still pretty clean.
Doont get me wrong im not saying the hoses are ugly, just not my taste, Theres really nothing bad to say about ur car, its one gorgeous, defenitly respected car, u sure have my respect

"where did you get the nice exhaust tips and how much where they?"
YES!! When I find the IROC-Z I want, I want my tips to look just like that, 3in. and just out farther than the bumper. Nice!! What exhaust system u have??
The tips that are in those pictures came with the car when I bought it. I recently put on a pair of Gibson "Sport Tips." They look very similar to the tips on the older Corvettes.
As for an exhaust system, I'm still using the stock one. I'll be getting a Hooker Aerochamber muffler soon enough, however.
I think that the old tips would look good if they weren't all rusted (they were cheap ones). I think that the new tips go with the angles of the car a little better. Both styles look good, however.
Thanks for the compliments The color is pretty unique (from my knowledge, my particular shade of "IROC Blue" metallic was only available in 86-87)... it changes hues slightly in different light conditions. The other night, the garage lighting made it look almost a bluish-purple -- very cool, in my opinion.
I just use standard Meguiar's Gold Class wax. I can't wait to try Zaino underneath all of that.
