what would be a cool windshield banner?

im looking for a front windshield sticker to put on my car, and now that my car is freshly painted i think it would be a good time to add one on. i would like to hear your ideas on what would be cool and what wouldnt be. i was thinking of the edelbrock logo that i see on that thirdgen in that russell brake line advertisement in the magazines, or the hotchkis logo, or maybe even an slp logo. i want the logo to represent something i have on my car. what do you guys think?

I'd say no logo, but thats my opinion. If you must put one on it, go with QwkTrips LATINO PRIDE idea

pretty funny black_widdow, but only true car guys would get it, I saw on a '92 firehawk he had 'move over' backwards on his front plate, when my car hits the low 14's I'll celebrate with that on the window, and in the back window "mustangs are for pretty girls, and single tail pipes are for posers" I know it will have to be small print, but come on, I like it.

Just wanted to point out that with the cross-flow muffler design used on our cars a single pipe setup flows better then a dual opposed pipe setup. Just one of those technical tidbits in case you're ever talking to a FBody guy

When I was in Jacksonville picking up my IROC wheels, I saw a thirdgen, I think it was purple with some sort of red or orange on it. On the windshield, it said "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT"

i saw a guy with this really cool one.. it was this color i cant describe it. was....ummmmmmmmm

CLEAR.

yeah thats it. clear. with nothing written on it.

that would be the coolest. everyone would notice and say man i think that car is fast because he has a sticker and stickers add like 5hp per sticker.

i bet those new Lingenfelter C-5s have like 30+ stickers on them since they have like 600+hp.

so go with the clear idea man. that would be the best.

That'd be hysterical. At least until a third gen that requires a four inch single toasted your hynie. Say, something like a twin turbo'd ride...

You'd be busting out a razor pretty quick. To scrape off your sticker. Not to slash your wrists.

I got a vinyl SLP Decal. My car is bright red so I got the top of the windsheild covered in red vinyl dwon about 5 inches. Then i took a printout with the slp decal from their main page and scanned it. Then we blew it up and cut it out on the plotter. The windsheild now has the top part covered in red vinyl and then over that is crimson yellow SLP. It is very plain and basic and compliments a couple of the other tiny yellow advertising decals i have. I don't like going to trashy

Oh yeah....I also cut one out for my 94 Civic *****....It says "Powered by Uncle Ben's" on the back window. It is my everyday car and the rice boys just love it

well to clarify my one tail pipe thing, I was simply refering to all the v6 mustangs that the guys around here think are cobras. I know this subject is old, but I haven't been on for a while, I've been fixing my car to sell it and get a fast one, ahhhh a fourth gen, I'm not saying that thirdgens aren't better, but I need less miles, more speed and better gas mileage, I already did the figuring and the 4th is the way for me.

Umm...well let me just worn you that sooner or later you are going to get sick of the window banner. I currently have one on my car that has the racing flags...and says Pontiac Racing....with flags on the left and the right of the writing with a really nice font. I always get complements on it...but truthfully it grew old very quickly. I am planning to get rid of it...it just gets in the way...you dont realize how much view a little banner takes away. Instead now I am getting a small tint strip...and the screaming chicken emblem centered on the top. No writing. I think it is an original idea. Plus my friend took my idea and did it to his '95 stang...and it looks great. It doesnt block the view...and it isnt overly done or *****. Maybe you can just get the black tint strip...very thin....then get a white chevy emlem on it...or a camaro emblem...either way I think that would be perfect for your car. The white would offset the black perfectly...oh by the way...beautiful camaro I love the hood. It looks very clean and trust me my idea would look great on your car.

Not that I dont think that some Camaro Banners look kewl, some do like on Amrish's car. But then again there are some that look way Red Neck. If I were you I would go with an SLP or your Car Club if you are in one. Jim86Bird, Kzad, and me have FBS (Our car club on our windshild) And BlackBird305 has DSI Racing on his. I think they look the best. I mean hell everyone knows it is a camaro or firebird, unless your a complete fool. So to sum it all up, I say get something differentj, it aint gonna be ***** unless you go waaaaaay to far.

I like the honda hunter one LMAO. I have a decal made for the back window of my Honda that says "Power by uncel Ben's". The ricers hate that

I think I might replace it with "Powered by Singer, Fueled by Uncle Ben's"

FoX banner

86Street, i noticed that FoX banner on your car. Thats pretty nice, i have a small FoX head sticker in the center of a red bowtie on the back glass of my camaro. Personally, i like Amrish's banner the best.

thats the best
I thought for a bit there you were talking about putting something across the top of the windshield that was backwards and could be read in a mirror saying:

"You guys ready?"

that is until I read on and saw what you really were suggesting.
