Repaint Questinos

I'm currently getting ready to have my IROC repainted in about a month and a half. Some damn lady ran into me in the middle of an intersection about 3 weeks ago and beat the crap out of my passenger side front fender. So with a bill of $1500 to fix and repaint that I figured now is as good a time as any to just have the whole thing done. I have narrowed a color down to two different ones. Either 2002 GM Fire Red or Torch Red. Anyway my questions are...does anyone have a car painted either of these two colors? If so can you post some pictures for me?
Also I'm going to add the 91-92 hood scoops to my hood in place of the stock louvers which I don't like. First of all can it even be done? I believe the hoods are all the same for the 85-92 IROC/Z28's. Has anyone else done this to an IROC? Do you have picture if you do?
Lastly I'm thinking about adding 91-92 Ground FX to the car. I like the ones from these years better than the ones on the IROCs. I'm wondering how they will look on the car, especially because I'm not going to add the HighRise wing like on the 91 and 92's. Pictures are a huge plus for me. Also if anyone knows of where I can get some of these that would help too. I'm out here in Central California. None of my local wrecking yards seem to have any in good condition so I thought I'd try the classifieds here but they are down currently.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ryan

The 2002 bright red should be exactly the same bright red as was used on our thirdgens. Its been called different things (bright red, Tor Red, Torch Red, etc.), but the mix formula is the same. This color actually has been unchanged since the 70s.

The blisters will bolt right on where your louvers are now. Both styles use the same hood. Putting on the later gfx and blisters will make your car look basically like a 91-92 Z. Look for a pic of a red one, and there you go.

See but I don't want to go back to the Bright Red. They are still putting Bright Red on a lot of cars. I don't care for it. To Orangie for me in the sun light. That is why I'm wondering about this Fire Red and Torch Red.
Also the problem with the cars on the posted on the site that are 91-92 Z28 with the ground fx and hood blisters is that they also have the Huge wing out back which I don't want. I'm curious how the car will look with the Hood blisters and ground fx and then the spoiler wing from the IROCs.

Are you talking about the maroon metallic red then? Maybe I misunderstood.

I agree the stock red on our cars looks too orange in the sunlight. I plan to repaint my car either Chrysler PRD red or Viper Red ( dunno these could be the same color? ), I saw the Chrysler red on a uhhg, Mustang in Car Craft, looked good.

No it isn't a Metallic at all. My local dealer has a Red Fire Metallic, but that isn't what I want. They also have what is just called Fire Red. It was on a 2002 Yukon, Sierra Pickup, and Envoy. It looks really nice. The old Bright Red is still being used, I saw it on a couple of Grand Am's. But again it is too orange for my tastes. Anyway it is Fire Red that I'm looking for. It looks awesome on the few cars I've seen it on. The paint code is 74 or U9260 if that helps. Either that or a color called Torch Red. I've seen it on a few show trucks and it also looks very nice.
