Need Opinions Please!!!

89 GTA. I removed the rotted-out aerowing spoiler. Question to yall is...what if I left it off and had the body shop fill the holes?
How do you think it would look? The car is white. I was looking at it for a while today with the wing off and it actually gives the rear a modern 'different' look without the spoiler. I think it looks pretty slick. I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.
Point is..for the $1000CDN I'll have to spend on the gtautoaccessories replacement, I can repaint the whole car...and have a trunk that stays open (rear hatch struts are only a year old and already started to get weak under the load of that heavy a$$ stock spoiler.

Your thoughts are welcome,
Thanks,
Steve

I happen to agree with the look of the TA without the spoiler. Check out Zephyr's home movie. He doesn't have the rear spoiler on and I think it looks better.

Modern?

Lets take a trip in the way way back machine... back to 1982. Every Firebird that wasn't an SE or a T/A didn't come with a spoiler unless it was added as an option. Its an ok look, but it gets old after awhile... the spoiler breaks up the clutter. I'd go with a flat base model spoiler... technically since they used them on the T/A's they look right at home, they're easy to find and cost effective and they last forever... Not to mention they're actually functional.

I would go with the spoiler. But then again, that's just my opinion and everybody's got a different one.
