Make sure it doesn't have ammonia in it. It'll turn the tint purple or something.

Windex has an ammonia free formula that works just as good or better than regular Windex. That's what I use. I think it's with vinegar, and it's clear.

Uhh yeah my mom didnt know and bought a brand new 80,000 dollar lincoln town car limo and used regular windex on it and had to get it re tinted cause it made the tint rainbowish dull. So they stress only to use without ammonia and just said go with windex with vinigar. oh and it stinks really bad but its better to have clean windows that smell than to have rainbow windows that dont

If you wondering my mom owns a limo company. she doesnt just cruise around in limos to work.

Ammonia will actually begin to slowly break down the actual tint itself. Most of the time, the purple haze that you see is from old tint. As far as I know only certain types of tint will not turn after some time. On my wifes car,it has begun to turn and I have never used ammonia based glass cleaner on it,its about 5 years old now. Anyways,I believe the best glass cleaner on the market is EAGLE ONE 20/20 Perfect Vision Auto Glass Cleaner,it is made especially for tinted windows. Bought it at Auto Zone. I am sure other places sell it also.
