Im looking for pictures of Camaros with the DAYTONA STYLE IROC HOOD SCOOP. I have just installed mine on my car and soon I want to get it painted but I dont know what colors look good on it so if you have this scoop can you post your pictures. Thank You
i was thinkin of goin with a daytona hood, but to me they are just too expensive and might look weird on my rs ( and for some reason everyone is against them)
Didn't they used to make a scoop for the firebirds as well w/o the inserts? I haven't been able to find one, but I know I seen a scoop like that for sale in a mag several years ago.

I know someone that has one on a Firsbird so yes thry made one for the birds and it has the holes on the side. It is not that white one in the pic above either. It looks just like the Camaro one.

look at the pictures in there it was on my old camaro which was the black one and now it's on my new one. I also have hood pins which I installed after those pics
that white one is the twin turbo hood. they look better than you think they would. Still love the daytona hood but want to see one on a 91-92 RS. I don't know if that would be to busy or not.

Its seems to be a love hate thing... From one angle I like my hood and from another I don't care for it! I am willing to part with mine if anyone is interested. White and in great shape!

I would have to agree w/ the hood being dated! Its a 80's thing...If that the look you are going for then it works...I am looking to get away from the 80's look and going w/ a more updated look. I think I am going to go simple w/ a stock z28/iroc hood.

Everytime I see one of those it makes it makes me think of the that god awful movie Corvette summer with Mark Hamill. Personally I think it dates the car big time, but to each his own.
Mine are blocked off...the openings have a wire grid over them, but they are covered by fiberglass from the inside...I might grind the openings open...

How much would you want for it? I want one for my 85. I'm in PA
