just about....there are many options out there for this sort of prismatic paint. the color base also determines how dark and what shades the color may turn. options are endless but somewhat generalized.

CaysE--I'm almost positive I saw that form of shift when I was deciding my color...go to ur local car quest(if they sell paint) and ask to see their kameleon paint cards there is over 50 different color combos to choose from!

I found the color! This is a TVR Tuscan Speed 6 painted Reflex Blue. It has the blue and green color shift without the golds or reds. Opinions?

Kandied, dont be mad at me cuz i was in a rush man, relax, and dont be mad becuase i can get all of the automotive products cheaper then you can. And dont be mad as if i think i read it right, you sold your car, dont take it out on me and everyone else on this board, i voiced my opinion, if you dont like it, fine, but no need to blow up over the wrong things. So calm down and get another car and ill get you some good paint cheap to paint it...ok, were all friends here, so start acting like it.

lol...Charged350 your kidding me right? listen here "cuz"; no attitudes, just straight to the point. don't need to hold anyones hand now do it? i told you to go back to school because your typing was hurtful to read, had absolutely nothing to do with what you said as i couldn't even understand you. plain and simple....glad you somewhat learned to type legible. try keeping it up.

cayse, the base makes a difference on the color choices. look up jade as well as it has alot more green in it for the teal aspect. ppg also has a similar line with much sharper colors as well as basf. dupont is definately the more affordable out of all of them however.

Has anyone played Gran Turismo 3 and won the "Boulder Opal Blue" NSX? Is that a real paint color?

Kandied91z your best bet would be silver with a blue pearl......

chromallusion paints don't go silver.

so there's no color-change paints that can go silver? i was kinda hoping for a chrome-like silver and bright blue. has anyone heard of anything like that?

I only found one picture of it on pontiac's website... Blue-Green Crystal Metallic? It looks like one solid dark teal color. Got any good pictures of it?

arise ye post...

Just asking again, does anyone know if Boulder Opal Blue is a real color? Also, anyone have pics of a Blue-Green Crystal Metallic 2005 Grand Prix?

Jeff, any pictures of the Jade color? I'm getting mostly porn stars in Google image search.

someone said earlier that this kind of paint is easy to blend... be very carefull.. there is no blending this paint... of course it never is the same color so one would think it is easy to just patch up... but if you paint your door again... when you're going to look at the paint in sun light, the colors won't align right and it will look awefully ugly... this thing is a one time deal.. you screw it, you paint all of your car again

If your looking for blue to teal paint your car mystic teal metallic... i did and in the shade the car is blue, in the direct sunlight it is a mint teal green color and at night it tends to look like a deep hunter or forest green... quite badass IMO

theres pics on my cardomain

I believe I have found the color, thanks to z28racer. Alsa makes a clear additive called SpectraFX that color shifts from "blue to emerald"

This is with the SpectraFX applied over a black base. The color changes dramatically with different bases. I would like to attempt it with a very dark blue base, just to give it an overall more blue color than the distinct blue and green. More information here: http://www.alsacorp.com/products/spe...trafx_show.htm

Kandied, you have a pic of the Jade color you were talking about?
