parking lamp higher than other, hmm

ok, i was looking around underneath the 84 Z because my pass side turn signal assembly is up higher than the driver side one, and there is a large raised up bump in the headlamp opening where its painted black, like the frame rail or something is pushing up against it from underneath like the front nose is sagging on that side or something, but doesnt look like it sagging, body lines look fine everywhere

whats up with that ? fix it somehow ?i dont like the big bulge in my headlamp opening area

also on the 82 T/A the rear hatch sticjs back past the quarter panel only on the driver side and all the body lines look fine also, posssibly a hair closer to the driver side quarter than the pass side one though, forgot now

thanks for any info or ideas or fixes info

My '86 T/A has the same problem on the rear hatch.
It hangs over the end by about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. I can't figure out how to move it up.
The bolt holes on the inside didn't appear to have any verticle adjustment width to them, just bolt holes. I want to take the top completely off when I redo the window tint and will probably tackle it then. Any ideas?

My hatch also has the same problem; hangs over the taillights on the passenger side by 1/2 inch. I think it's because that's the side the car was hit on. (It was totalled, and then repaired by a body shop, and then they sold it to me.) I'm not letting it bother me; if someone notices it, that means they're too damn close to my car, and they better back the hell up before I get to them! When I did my bodywork to the whole car (5 years ago), I re-did that area, and sure enough, the paint under my paint was red, and the paint inside the rear wheelwell (under the undercoating) was red. The panel behind the taillights was red. Apparently, a red Firebird donated it's quarter section to my car.
