I want to install mine out of the way, and on the dash board is right in the way. Is there anyway to lower my rear view mirror and put it up there?? I will run the wire by the headliner. Or is there a better place to put it? It is a 360* rd.

Mine's in the upper left hand corner of the windshield, just below the sunshade/tint on the window. This way I can run the wires up the under the plastic that runs up the door/window post, and I can also see the led's when my stereo's turned up.
Another great feature of this is the cops and anyone else for that matter can not see it unless they are eye level with my windows. Cops will be more apt to give you a ticket if they see a detector, at least from my experiences.
It looks like you mounted it up side down. What did you use? That is where I want to install it. Double sided tape, or velcro?? Good job.

I really don't know if you guys care, but for best results the detector should be mounted as low as possible and and in the center most position. This is not my opinion, it is an actual fact. Just thought I would let you know. Also, since it is a 360* detector, if you put it on the left side or right side, it wouldn't be able to detecter radar from the back because it would be blocked by either you or a passenger.
BTW, what is it right in the way of it is ontop of the dash in the middle?

Yeah, thats what I was gonna say. I have mine mounted on the dash in the center. Thats where it works best, as said in the instructions.
I was just looking to see if there was a better place to mount it. I was thinking about putting it in a more unnoticable spot. Thanks for the help.

Up high is better for radar, and down low is better for laser. Good compromise tends to be in the middle of the windshield. Quick summary of some extensive articles I've read here and there.
I mounted mine just to the left of the rear view mirror. I liked having mine on the dash and just to the left of the left dash speaker, but my new one has a compass built in and the magnet from the speaker interferes with the compass.
