This news will be just a little late but for anyone who wants to know.

I recently went to the local pick-a -part and found the complete non-AC heater box and interior ducting ,controls wiring etc. I also picked up the vent with a manual cable. It was out of a 85 camaro with a 2.8 liter V6 with RPO C41. The vent pictured above looks slightly different than mine. I wonder if it was out of a firebird or earlier car. But it shouldn't be a big deal for anyone to swap since mine worked out fine.

I would like to suggest that it is better to completly swap everything including everything behind the dash than to just swap the blower box in the engine compartment. Makes a more complete system with no vacuum lines and simple one wire hookup.
