What size fuse for 4th gen power seats? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Just got my seats installed!

I got a harness, and was very pleased to find out the air lines were part of it. Then another bonus. When I removed the passenger seat, there was already slits in the carpet for the power harness. So they are in, and I just used my battery charger to get power so I could slide the seat back. I want to hook up power permanently, and was just wondering what others are using for a fuse rating?

My stock GTA seats used a 30. The new 4th gen seats I have have lumbar support and power track....but I just reused the 30. I just don't use both options at once and I'm okay. (although I've never even tried it).

You really should use a circuit breaker for seats (30 amp).

I'm guessing you should be fine with the 30, I just wired mine in to the stock wiring (which I realize you don't have) and never gave it a second thought. So whatever the stock fuse is for a 88 IROC, worked for me.
