If you're not hell-bent on doing it yourself, most glass places can clean it all up and replace whatever you need. Doesn't cost as much as you'd think (some places).

Well, i'm in ohio and you're not, so i can't really give you a name that would mean much to you. i just know that the place i'll be going for my windshield also does seals. (it's a glass place that mainly does windows in houses and offices, tint, and glass replacement) Theres a catalog that sells restoration stuff, i think it's called Eastwick, they might have the right stuff for you

Are they gold plated too ??

You can get GM seal kits from www.tacreationsusa.com for $250 both sides (less s&h). I bought mine from them for $160 before GM hiked the price up on everyone.

sorry i forgot to say that that price is for every weather seal except for the hatch and the hood seal. it is a good ideah to replace the door, window, and the thin strips on the door next to the window when you replace the t-tops seals, especilally if you have a dark colored car because they fry them selfs to death. it also helps prevent rustthrough on the doors, and a quieter interior. helps keep the bass in the car too

thanks
anthony

If you're too cheap to buy the seals then go get a roll of clear Scotch tape.

Funny funny stuff. Probably wouldn't work anyway...I went to school with the guy who does most of the work, but it's his mom who usually handles the money.

It will for awhile until the weather & body/t-top movement gets to it and causes it to break/rip. Then you spend a few hours removing small bits of tape at a time that eventually ends up pissing you off until you just glue the damm things back in with a tube or two of black silicone and they still friggin leak on you. :finds happy place:.. or so I guess it can be somewhat like that....

You can adjust the fit of the T-Tops. The sleeve (in the A-Pillar/Windshield frame where the front outside corners of the tops meet the side windows) that the pin on the tops fits into to lock the tops down is adjustable (at least it is on my 92RS). When you take off the plastic molding that runs from the top of the windshield down the A-pillar to the front edge of the dash, you will see slots in the sleeve where it is mounted to the windshield frame. Loosen screws, move sleeve inward (towards seats), and voila, no leaks, no wind noise! (or at least less of both) If your seals are completely shot, this may not eliminate the problem, but it should help. Best of Luck.
