I took off the middle section (ground effect under the door) ground effect on one side of my 88 camaro. When I went to do the other side it won't come off. Something is holding it at the very back part right past the door. Can someone please give me some help? What the hell is holding this piece on? The other side came right off. The 4 screws under the door are out and the 2 screws under the emblem are out. It's just the very back of the ground effect that won't come loose.
there's a nut that holds it onto the car. you have to pull out the interior panel right where the seat belts go under the sail panels and look through a hole in there to find it. hope this helps.

Thanks for the info but I just cannot find that nut to remove the back part of left hand ground effect. Are you sure the nut isn't behind the support rail that runs along the bottom on convertibles
If you pull off the door vent cover you can reach your hand and a socket wrench down there and get it off. No need to remove your interior pannels.
