i think that a few people have used the fusion stuff on their carpets, but i am not 100% positive on that, but i know that you can, might even be able to use spray paint

Duplicolor makes interior spray dye that works for plastic, vinyl, carpet, etc.. Carried in most auto parts stores around here. It doesn't get as crusty as regular spray paint does.

I just dyed my black carpet with RIT dye. Worked awsome. Get the liquid kind and use half a bottle in a standard squirt bottle mixed with hot water. Set the bottle to light mist and get after it. Looks great when finished.

I bought the Duplicolor spray dye and it worked out pretty good...my carpet is all one color now

Here is a pic of the passenger side.. you can see where I stopped, my carpet is in good condition (no holes or worn) but it was faded...

Here is the drivers side back seat (you can see where I sprayed the middle "hump")

And here is the finished passenger side... it looks way better in person cuz my digi camera sucks

The whole carpet came out better than I expected..I'm happy with the results!

I wonder if this would work for my faded seat belts.

I just started my interior color change this weekend using the Duplicolor spray. Works very well and in just one coat. I've done the back section of carpet and a few plastic panels so far. I'll get a comparison pic this weekend hopefully.
