How much does it generally cost to have seats reupholstered?

Im just wondering, how much would it cost to get them redone?

My budy was going to get the ones in his chevelle redone. He got bucket seats from the Junk Yard and went to get them reupholstered. The guy wanted, I think, like $200-$250 per seat to do them all over. Not 100% positive, but should be a ballpark figure.

for a fullsize seat, roughly $100-$150 for regular vinyl or cloth.

it can easily go over $300 a seat for leather, or some of the better synthetic coverings.

I had mine recovered in the factory colors and cloth for $220 per seat. That also included new foam in the drivers seat.

Depending on where you go, you can end up sending anywhere from a couple hundrend to over a thousand.

I priced out to do my 82 indy pace car seats & everyone I talked to was well in to the $1500 range.

I had my pace car seats redone in the original material (vinyl/cloth combo) for $600. $250 per bucket and $100 for the rear seat. Seat covers only, no new foam. Oh, and that was without getting the headrests installed (didn't have the plastic brackets - original ones were trashed) I think it was another $100 or so to have that done.

If you need seat I recommend that you check Ebay. Look at the seat that I got for my 82 Camaro Leather w/ driver seat electrical controls $375.00. They are in excellent condition. Better and MUCH cheaper than getting my old seats upholster.

So if I wanted to get my entire interior re-done in leather it would cost me $900?

I posted something on here a while ago about a guy who redid his seats for $175 they turned out great and he said it had been a couple of years since he did it and they still looked great. It actually looked really easy to do and they looked factory I think I am gonna try it this winter if you want the link let me know I will try to find it for you. I should also say he made the seat covers himself and they were made out of hampton vinyl (a synthetic leather that most of the new seat covers are made out of).

Why not get a quote from "the Cover Girl". She is a member here (link below). Apparently she does very good work (according the the TGO thread). Just click on the "Upholstery Work" tab (near the bottom on the left).
