What's the best product to use for re-dying the interior plastic of these cars? My 82 Z-28 came with the maroon interior and although the seats are really good yet, the plastic panels that make up the back half of the car are faded badly. Any suggestions as to what to use and the best way to do it would be appreciated. I have no damage, just sun fading. Thanks..

be sure and clean the heck out of your pieces first, then use the "sand-free" hard plastic primer before coloring. And when you're done with the color coat, shoot some clear on it, and it should look nice for many years. SEM makes 3 different finishes of clear: gloss, satin and low lustre.
I ordered some plastic-specific paint from Classic Industries a while back. They didn't have 82-92 specific colors then (they may now), but they had a 1979 or so dark blue that matched my interior pretty well. It was expensive, at $16 a can or so, but you might want to check it out- it may match better than a krylon or something.
