any suggestions on how to go about reapiring this see Pic..
sorry if pic is big but didn't have time resize it..
But anyway this on a 86 camaro that got broken into a few months back and haven't goten around to fixing it, the body shop wants 400.00 to fix this so is there a cheaper way of doing this?
thanks
Bill
Good luck finding a way to do this for less than $400. Mine is torn up in such a way (some jacka$$ decided to punch a hole in the skin next to the lock to get in.. if I find him he's going to die) I need a new door skin, and those alone are $300. Since the inner door structure itself isn't all that hot (power windows create stress cracking) I'm just going to get a new door from my local junkyard.
A little elbow grease to take the paint down, primer, wet sand. Get the paint codes and go get some dupli-color rattle cans. Follow the directions and save $300.
Sure, you may have to move the window into it, but it depends how much you want to do vs what you want to pay.
