thats all this thread is now.....
whats wrong with that. I think it's great that some new idea for a paint job has created such attention. most of us here have tried to think of somethin unique and different to boost the image of our badazz car. when most of us only think of doing something once in a while someone actually does try it and we all would like to see the results, and that usually sparks new interest in our car again, and suddenly more people follow the new trend until it's played out, and the cycle starts over again with something newer or better than before.
so now if we all didnt think we "wanted or needed" to buy a 3rd gen fbody , then I dought there would be any one posting here online now would there?
Bitchin set of flames definitly awesome job. So how much of that was a stencil? I'm more partial to the lay it out with tape and do the old fashioned flames.
No stencils, No videos, just you the tape and the spray gun.

Get Jeff to ship me out a US mailbox for my house hehe. Mind you, the way Customs & Excise are, it may be cheaper for me to buy the DVD and an airbrush!
Great work guys!
Mark.

"I've the only Trans Am in the village!"
I really like the one on the right. If I would guess, I think that you did that one last. That has the perfect amount of flames to base color.
So what color are you planning on the blue? Still with the orange, or do you plan on a different shade or color. I see this as an easy procedure, but still to complicated for me to be able to attempt.
If I could do that, I would have many things around my house painted with flames. That hood looked really nice too. I just can't wait to see the camaro done.
I must live vicariously thru your pics. I have too much rust to weld up, and engine work just to keep my trans/am running.
Good job jeffw

Everyday, I look at my Trans/Am, and it makes me sad to see its current state of disrepair. I don't even know how long it has been.
When I bought the Nissan, I assumed it was my daily driver, not my exclusive driver.
It is a 355 82 trans am. My mods are here, my 82 T/A

i agree. if you are going with true flames it does look best on a black car. the blue flames pictured on the small motorcycle tank looks good but i think it would look funny on a car.
