I'll second 3M. It's got the red and white label on it, not green and white. This stuff is stronger than you think.

I think the 3M tape is rated for different weights. Just get the outside type tape for the highest weight they have and I guarnatee it will hold anything in place!

I checked menards, and home depot today, but no luck. All I saw was the green and white which is rated 2lbs per 120mm (something like that)....not nearly strong enough. Scotch brand had some rated at 5lbs....but looked more like 'indoor' tape.....Im gonna keep searching for that red and white

We sell it at Radioshack. It's only a couple bucks. That stuff does wonders. A customer once used it to put a clip on there phone. and when they tried to take it off it actually borke the plastic shell of the phone before it would let go.

Red 3M double sided tape is the best. I've probably used a good 5000 feet of that stuff in my lifetime, and never seen it fall off when its put on properly.

Any auto store should have it,even Walmart has the 3M tape.If it's for the door molding Walmart has a 1/2" wide roll in a black(I think) package in their auto section and in their house paint section. The roll itself has a red backing on it that you peel off...I think that they have 3M in one other width.

I would suggest going to an autobody supply shop...or car quest. We get 3M products that once it's stuck...it's stuck. I can probably get a part number for you tomorrow
