| Another way other than sanding to strip paint from plastic and rubber parts? Hi,
The consensus on stripping paint off of plastic and rubber parts seems to be that they should be sanded with 180 or 200 grit sandpaper. Truth is, I'm too lazy for this . I used the Mar-Hyde Tal-Strip Extra Strength Paint Remover on my fender and it worked like a charm. I know I can't use it on rubber parts because I've heard it prevents the new paint from drying correctly. But what about the fiberglass parts (ground effects)? Anything that can be done with the rubber parts? Thanks. | | |
