Homemade subframe connectors tack welded

They look like they hang low, but with my ground FX on they are just barely under them... I did this to protect them, for those rough approaches and mishaps with curbs that ground FX don't take too well to.

I don't mean to sound critical, but those don't look like they're going to give any benefit at all. The only weld I see to the body in the back is on that plate steel, not on the square tubing itself.

At the end of that square tubing, you need to weld another angled piece of square tubing that meets up to the subframe, and then weld that to the subframe. Just welding that piece of plate isn't going to cut it. As soon as the chassis twists you're going to break the welds.

If the front is attached the same way, I'd suggest finding a way to fix that too.

The plate is going to be welded all along. Its just tack welded right now, and there are going to be welds all along the rocker panel. Also there is another section of plate being added in front of the one thats there again welded all along to help spread out the force.
