Yep I agree after building this one. I was trying for the jap hood look. Got close but miss just a bit with the width of the invert.
i was thinking of the front vents ...i guess i could see the back vents working ...sorry i thought you were refering to the front vents and you could see why that would be so ridiculous
Going to tear the hood down again. After having it on for some time now I just don't think the opening is wide enough so I'm tearing it apart. I'm going to widen the opening more like the Jap hood. Then I'm going to cut the center section out and try to put lexan so you can see through the invert and see the TPI. So we'll see how it goes.
The one good thing about the hood is the car runs very cold. The temp hasn't gone over 150 since the build.

Wow, thats actually too cold. You should run a warmer thermostat. Sounds like youve got your work cut out for you. I hope it comes out how you want it, and this time we can see it with some paint!
would u mind making a step by step of how u pieced together that hood? i want to make one for the trans am.i think that looks great and took alot of craftsmanship.
