There is no plastic bushing on the lower hinge pin. It is a metal bushing with serrations on it that presses into the lower hinge. Don't bother replacing it with a used pin and bushings. New pins and bushings are redily available at most Auto parts stores, dealer, I even stock them as
TDS 201080. The topic of how to replace lower pins & bushings has been covered in detail several times. A quick
SEARCH would have answered the question.
In a nutshell first determins if you need to repair only the lower hinge pins/bushings or upper ones too. Open the door and have someone lift it while you closely inspect the upper and lower hinges for movement. If you're doing lower only you'll need to un-bolt the upper hinge. If you're replacing upper and lower using one of the Upper Hnge repair kits, then the hinge doesn't need to be un-bolted.
You want to use a new lower pin and bushings for several reasone. 1) the bushings will break on removal. 2) there are metal retention tangs on the pin that will shear off when you drive out the old pin.
You'll also need a
GM Door Spring Tool to re-install the lower door detent spring.
