Pistol Grip Shifter pics?

Has anyone installed the t5 pistol grip handle into a firebird console? Not quite shure if it would flow with the interior so I am looking for a pic. A search just revealed T handles and the ball knobs.

Also, if anyone has a picture of a Firebird GTX (dealer option??) could you post it? Mainly looking for a picture of the side pontiac graphic.

Thanks

if you are talking about the pistol grips out of, lets say grand ams, then yes i have installed them, and really did not like it. I put the T handle back on.

This is the handle I'm talking about, planned on a shorty shifter and run the boot up to the bottom of this handle:

would work. Ive just got a crappy non stock shifter on mine.
I made a shorty shifter by just removing the shifter bar from the tranny, cutting it down to the size I wanted then tap and dye the end, reinstall the shifter bar and screw on the knob.

Hope this helps......

PS i did this cuz i hated how my arm was way up in the air when i was shifting and my elbow was on the armrest. Now my arm just lies on the armrest and console while i shift. Is pro i think...if you do it youll love it
