4th gen searts on 3rd gen

I read somewhere that 4th gen seats, front and back will fit
3rd gen with no problem.

but after some search, I read some stuff like
"4th gen style seats for 3rd gen"
does this mean the shop modified the seats
to fit a 3rd gen?
or if I pick up a 4th gen seats from a junkyard will
it fit my 3rd gen without a problem?

Im wondering if the brackets are the same..

any help is apprciated, thanks!!

its almost the simplest thing ever. 4th gen seats there are 4 nuts holding them down. undo them and lift the entire seat (without bracket) out and itll bolt directly into your 3rd gen bracket. then secure the nuts and you're done. takes like 10 mins tops.

by the way, i have a tan leather pass. seat from a 4th gen. it's got no tears/rips/cracks/fading. 55+ shipping if you're interested.

What he said. It can't get any easier and they are most comfortable/sporty for the price.
