Looking through my photobucket album i keep seeing all the pictures of my old RS. That was my first car and my baby, and unfortunately i totaled it. I didnt get hurt but there was no way to fix the damage to the car. Figured it might be interesting to share pictures and/or stories of some accidents involving your thirdgen's.
Heavy rain the car hyrdroplaned and started spinning, went across the road off into a ditch sliding sideways and literally wrapped around a telephone poll (as you can see). Broke the side and rear windows, snapped the axle, easily crushed the frame, and popped the wheel off.

I just dont understand how you confuse the brakes and the gas? I guess it was just one of those statistics with inexperienced drivers. At leaste everyone was okay. But I'd hate to have his new insurance rate...
4 car accident, lunch time and the streets are busy, someone trys to squeeze between you and another car and doesn't have enough time to stop so they slam the brakes and hit the person in front of them which hits the car infront of them and I hit the person who cut me off. None of the other cars are damaged let alone scratched except mine.
yes, the car drives very tight, right now i am trying to save up for a 8 point roll bar for full stiffness. here are the pics http://www.cardomain.com/ride/524043/1
this is what happeneds when you park at the end of your driveway and your mom doesnt look where she was goin while shes backing up..nothing a lil hammering and bondo cant fix... not bad for my first bondo job

These pictures are mostly making me sick to my stomach..
It's good to see them though... maybe there's something to be learned from these mistakes....
Ahem..
1) Don't park your car where your mom can hit it
2) The brake is the big peddle in the middle
3) Rain + RWD = Slippery
4) Savor your car, sometimes accidents are completely out of your control.
That is all.
