Good luck trying to get that hood. I went thru a mission sending about 10 emails to the japaneese place that sells it until finally those stuck up b*$#@!s answered me back and it cost $876.00 US dollars and $690.00 to import and ship to a buissness. They can stick it where they came from. Way too much money.
So I gave up also contacting hood manufacturers to make it. I just got a cowl hood. I am happy for now.
I dont understand why hood manufacturers cant duplicate it in fiberglass. They would sell like hot cakes. They are just dumb and loosing out on money.

Ain't it a carbon fiber hood? $876 might be a realistic retail price. And the shipping..........U could prolly ship 1 or half a container of those things for about that price. Things become WAY WAY cheaper by volume.
Need to email some vendors and push them to become a supplier IMO.
I have always loved this hood, and I hope one day someone will make them her in U.S.A whether it be carbon fiber or fiberglass I dont care I just want one
ive been hunting for this hood for a 6 months, i want one so bad, i might eventualy just have to have one shipped, and i think that carbon fiber, being masked off *** stripes, then color matching the hood, so you would end up with carbon fiber stripes, would look super sick
To those of you saying it's too expensive to ship...as someone who lives in Japan, I assure you that price is on par for shipping, even by boat. A hood is a HUGE thing, and it's coming from halfway across the world.
The little 1.5 cubic foot care packages my sister sends me? Yeah $50 to ship.
