Re: ferrari hatch
that is a pretty neat hatch....my guess would be off maybe a fierro? thats only my guess though, i would assume that on the assembly line they'd use relative sized bodied cars, just different wheel base, and that does kinda look like the engine compartment size of one.....but thats just my guess

I spent some time working on a Fiero recently and it didn't look like that. Never seen anything like that.

Re: ferrari hatch
i was assuming a fierro just cuz of that, i once worked with a kid who had a fierro, i forget what year it is, but i never saw it again, but youre right, it iddnt look like that, but i wonder if you could find something on likea fierro forum...just cuz i'm still determined that it could be fierro....just suggesting,i'm not saying that i'm right, but i'm just suggesting

Where do I get one of those kits. Don't mind wasting a TA for that.

Re: ferrari hatch
I've seen a completed kit or two surface on Ebay. There were molds for the kit listed on Kitcars.com for quite a while.

Re: ferrari hatch
aww dont do that with a TA or camaro
if you want a kit car go buy a fiero and do it.
1st car i ever had was a fiero. frickin sweet.
iv always wanted to put a V8 in that little car
but i think that rear hatch looks kinda goofy.
could just be because its a different color.

Re: ferrari hatch
I saw a Fiero with a similar kit. I coulda swore it was a Ferrari. Then again, I don't know my Ferrari's too well, but damn if it looked clean.

Re: ferrari hatch
308/328 Fiero kits stand out like a sore thumb. Shorter wheelbase, flat windshield, T-Tops in some cases, crap interior, side window completely wrong, rear window etc.
355 kits just plain look like ****. I've only ever seen one real nice build, but that's the exception not the rule.
F40 kits so laughable they will impress maybe a 5 year old.
F50 kits aren't any better, aside from one a guy in Japan built on an NSX frame.
If you're going to stick a V8 in a Fiero the Cadillac Northstar is the only way to go. 300hp right out of the box.

Re: ferrari hatch
Agreed with the above posts...
Go look at the lines / curves of a real 328... and drool...
Some kits are done nice, and differences can be slight, but some.... ?!?!?!?
And as for Crocket & Tubs, maybe cuz it's white, but it should be Magnum PI for that style Ferrari...
I like the OEM GM Notchback....
Here are some other factory notchbacks....
& Mine in my sig...

Re: ferrari hatch
do notchbacks actually have trunks or is it just like a hatch but with a glass "convertible size" window?

Re: ferrari hatch
Ya, it's gotta trunk...just a tad smaller cuz it's flat instead of curved when it had the glass.

Looks "different", but I noticed they are all angle shots, no straight side shots... (pics) That would expose if it looks too short or too long...
