Pictures of 91-92 TA with no Body Side Molding

Can someone show me a picture of a 91 or 92 Trans Am without the body side molding. I am sending my car in for paint and I think I am going to remove mine, I would like to see a picture of one before I commit to make sure it doesn't mess with the lines or something, I am just used to them being there...
A red one would be nice but any color will do, thanks in advance.

It would be basically a formula of the same year.

The thing is I believe you would have two problems:

1. You would need new (Formula or base Bird) front and rear bumpers.

2. I believe the GFX are bolted to some pieces that are spot welded to the body (maybe someone else can verify this)

I like it both with and without (I have had two 91s), but I think it might be more trouble than you want to permanently remove it.

Nice car by the way, the buy I got mine from has a vert like yours - heavily modded though.

Yep, the GFX are bolted onto the body and the doors. so if you wanted to get rid of them you would need to have the holes filled in.

Oh, no not the GFX, the body side modling, the little bead of rubber at the arch of the door to prevent the nasty door dings.
I've seen some Camaros with body side molding, but wonder what the 91-92 TA GFX will look like without them.

My bad. Mine doesn't have those. I wish it did, the drivers door has like 7 light dents in it. Heres some pics:

I have a suggestion or an alternative. 4th gen firebird side moldings on the doors are the exact same length as the 3rd gen side moldings on the doors. They are not as 'fat' as the 3rd gen side moldings.

Nice, thanks guys that was what I needed to see.
I can see that I like it with out the molding just fine.
The fourth gen molding is also a good idea.
I think I will go with out, but I will have mine painted when the car is painted and just keep them in storage, then if I get a couple ding I might put them back on over the dings and make it look new again.
Thanks guys for the pictures, your cars look good.
