i believe the shocks needed for the notchback is a totally different length or style than the original type for these cars. I think i remember reading that in other posts on this site with other people with the same problem. If you can't find what you need here. Might have to ask dealership but goodluck because they don't keep records for some things.
also might just have to go to a autozone or advance or wherever and try different lengths of shocks
sucks but what can ya do.
hopefully someone else can offer a better answer than me sorry
it i more about the fact that when you go to close it .. it just hits the lid itself.. almost as if the mounting braket on the car is in the wrong place... maybe i need to make some sort of braket that relocates it about 1 in lower then where i was before.. that is all it really is hitting..
thats why i asked if anyone has a knotchback lid allready.. and could get me pics of what theres looks like guess it is just that rare that noone has one lolz
ok i understand now. look on ebay if anyone is selling one with a notchback and you send them a msg to send you a photo of their setup.
or even go onto the body section on this site and ask specifically for all notchback owners to post their setup.
and is worse comes to worse gets some sheet metal and sheet metal cutters and fabricate something to get you on your way for the mean time if your into creating things like that.
i know it seems like a way out there suggestion but if they dont have it, make it, thats my moto.
