I sware these cars come with factory t-top leaks. My 85 t/a has new seals the t tops are adjusted to the roof perfectly. The windows are also perfectly adjusted. I still get a chinse water turture drop on my left arm in heavy rain. Drives me nuts. It apears the water is getting under the seal and then driping under the seal at A piller. Anyone have correct fixes for this. not just load it with silicone? Pics ect.... Any sugjestions would be great.

If you are sure the leak is coming from the A-pillar area, I would do the following:
Remove your t-top and a-pillar trim piece, pull the weather stripping back in that area and shine a flash light from the inside of the car toward the problematic leak area (this is how I found my leak a while back). The factory installation guide lays out a detailed installation of the weatherstrip in these areas and you are supposed to make strips of urethane and then bend them into 90 degree angles and insert 1 at each pillar corner. Somewhere on this site there is tech article which has this T-top weather strip - GM installation guide, see if you can locate it. If not, i'll scan mine and upload, let me know. The pictures in the guide will clear up what I am talking about.
Honestly, I have never made the 90 degree pieces but I have this time since I am installing new rubbers and I don't want leaks! Once I take my car back to the body shop for final touch ups, I will seal in the rubbers permanently, as of now, they are just sitting in the channels with no adhesive. So, I can't tell you if this will work or not...oh and btw, my car is not going to see water because I can't drive it yet.

Thats exactly what i was thinking of, wish i had a picture to realy visualize what your descibing, but i kinda understand. Right at the corner, i bleive the problem lies in how gm just stoped the weather strip chanel about 1 inch too short, so when the water gets under the seal it has no place to go but down, down into the car. Those 90 pices should divert the water right? If you have those instructions that would be great. I work for a vw saab dealer and i have been trying to get t top info from the gm websight. but with lil succes.
They illustrate very well what I was talking about regarding those urethane strips or "bridges" as they call them. Take your time and read through this, very helpful!
