Pontiac Jongbloed hood

Awhile back I did some design work for them & they said they were gonna make it...

Then all the bad incomplete orders & such....
Change of management fixing the "broken" orders...

Anyways, here's the rundown....Make your own decisions. Between the way G&T was doing things & North Country straightening out G&Ts mistakes....I hear its been s tough road.

October 6, 2008
they should be back on it by the end of the week. We are getting caught up now.

October 3,2008
I talked to the guys in the shop and they were pulled off it because we got really busy building parts. They will be back on it soon. The plug is almost ready.

I thought North Country had changed owners but.....

September 5, 2008
No new owners just moving people around and new management so we can get some better customer service going on. I am new here and am finding all kinds of orders in the wrong files. I will have to check on that hood with the guys in the shop. I will get back to you by the end of the day.

We got so busy we had to stop work on it and use our mold guy in the shop building parts. We are going to finish it off when things slow down.

July 14, 2008--We had some large orders for the boat parts we build and had to pull our mold guys off to help fill the orders. At this time I can't give you an exact time when it will be done. But we will post it on the site as soon as it is. I don't visit the TGO site much. Very busy here in the shop.

We had to start from scratch but the plug is getting close. We should have a few pics of what it is going to look like in 2-3 weeks. Sorry I have not been on this site for awhile. We were getting pretty beat up with guys thinking we were still G&T I am not sure how else I can get the word out that we are a totally different company. I don't know if advertising here would help if people just think we are G&T under a new name..

March 28, 2008
We are looking at at least 2 months to finish everything for the mold.

Re: Pontiac Jongbloed hood

What is this hood supposed to look like? I have not yet seen a hood I like more than my factory 4-vent....

Ok, so its like a reverse cowl ind. hood? The bottom has the vents at least.... I'm kind of interested. I would like to see the finished product.

Re: Pontiac Jongbloed hood

No...Nothing like a"reverse" cowl induction....Like a standard cowl induction.

It's basically a cowl induction, that follows the stock creases in the hood lines & raises the area in between them, into a cowl, instead of 2 straight lines.

It raises the section between these 2 stock "creases" into a cowl induction scoop, just like the Camaro one ones on Camaros.

OOps! I thought from the pic, that it was concave. That is better! I would be interested, if it uses my stock vents...
