need some help w/ my hood latch

its sticking really bad. I need to adjust my height. so I shut the hood to see how much I needed to adjust it and now it won't open up! I had just adjusted the hood latch itself because it wasn't latching and now I'm getting the opposite effect. please help. I really need to get this done.

If you crawl up under the nose you can manually pop it

Re: need some help w/ my hood latch

Sometimes it takes 2 people to get it open. Have someone pull the handle while you pull up on the hood. Try pushing down on it while you pop the latch. And the handle has to go back in for the latch to fully release. When you get it open adjust it as close as you can and grease it before you close it again.

Re: need some help w/ my hood latch

my hood got stuck once

it got so I had to jack up the drivers side of the car from the a-arm and produce enough body twist that the hood finally popped open
