what you guys think

This is my new baby. I got this car from a friend of mine for free about a month ago. It has been around our friends for at least 11 years passing from one to the other. After sitting in a backyard for the past 3 years I finally got my hands on the car I wanted since I was a kid. I have big plans and it runs fine now Looking for v6 to v8 swap. And 4th gen interior swap. It will be a long journey but I can't wait and it will be fun along the way. Thanks guys

Free is good but I hate that nose on them.

Looks like a bad paint job is the problem. Them edges are to clean, looks like the paint chipped or fell off in a big chips, then its rusted. All right in spots where folks put their hands. Might of cheaped out on the prep.

Get some aircraft stripper from autozone and in a few mins all that paint will be go with little mess. Just nasty stuff, don't get on your skin, it will burn like hell in 3 sec.

yeah it is coming off in big chunks. I can sit there and pull it up with my fingers. other than the hood though the paint is in pretty good shape. Oh and I didn't post the pick of the driver side. The fender is smashed and I need to replace it.

I saw that car on craigslist a few months ago and came REAL close to buying it. I'm glad it ended up with someone that wants to bring it back.

If you decide to get rid of that hood, let me know. I live between Houston and Austin.

Find good junk yard parts first, but you can get front fenders new real cheap.
But they don't fit as good they say.
