Changing 87 trans am wing to 91 trans am wing

Whats all involved? I havent pulled the 87 wing off but the dside of the wing has an adhesive caulk running along it so either the rubbr split or the tab or tabs broke. I dont want to switch to the 91 hatch with the brake light in it. Can I modify my 87 hatch clips to fit the 91 wing? thanks

Actually I'm doing the same thing. I took the rubber wing off and put the fiberglass one in its place. You will need to redrill the holes and fill in the existing holes. I need the little clips to install the fiberglass spoiler. so i can go on.

hi !

i will do the same job in a few days so i will need the same hardware than you but i don't know what are the little clips we need to do it.

i want to install the 91 hatch trim on my 86 glass but i have some questions:

_ can i use the original brackets on the glass frame ? (the brackets used with the rubber wing to attach the tips.)

_ have you got a picture of this clips ?

_ where can i find it ?

From what I understand. the clips are different. You can get the universal mounting hardware that come with wings that hawks sell and it should work for both styles.

I dont have a link, I was assuming they would offer it seperately. You should call them since they may not have everything listed on their site.
