Hi all. I want to replace all of the plastic hardware for my A-pillars and Door Panels. I have tried ones from Autozone ect, and they never seem to be quite the right size. Does anyone have GM part numbers?

Looking for:

A-Pillar
Top Clips - should be 20462090
Side "christmas tree" clips - ???

Door Panel
"christmas tree" clips - ???

Thanks,

John

I've got some at junkyards, but they are so brittle they break when you pull them out.

Re: A-Pillar and Door Panel retaining clips / christmas tree part numbers wanted

Are these those white fuzzy looking things with huge heads on them? Half-turn into the panel and then press fit it into a hole to retain the panel?

If so, you can get them at ACE Hardware, unless you're into NOS/original, etc. They're over in the nut and bolt section.

They also carry a lot of the misc panel screws and under hood nuts and bolts.

Re: A-Pillar and Door Panel retaining clips / christmas tree part numbers wanted

went to the GM dealership and got some, they are pontiac 77 and higher years, panel christmas trees, and boy are they expensive. 2.97 for one! I got a guy ive known and bought parts off before and he gave me 15 for 5 bucks, so i lucked out. There are a couple numbers on the box and ill post them all up.

he said he uses this number to find them but he doesnt think its the part number: 2224

And the number i believe is the part number: 3065575

I compared them to the ones i have and they look almost exactly alike, same diameter and length and such.

Re: A-Pillar and Door Panel retaining clips / christmas tree part numbers wanted

Guys I'm aware they sell them at auto stores. Like I said, I've yet to see ones at the stores that actually fit correctly. They usually just break.

Chase,
That part number doesn't show up on gmpartsdirect. It should be an 8 digit part number. Thanks to posting your results. I'll head to the dealer today and see what I can find.

87350IROC, God thanks you for finding that! You saved us all alot of time and money. Thanks

EDIT: Are the retaining clips all the same for the A&B-Pillar trim, Door Panels, Headliner, and the clips that hold some of the hatch plastic?

Re: A-Pillar and Door Panel retaining clips / christmas tree part numbers wanted

here is what I got for the interior so far

All of this is for a hard top car.

Door Panels
12337920 - christmas tree retainers - maybe 8 per door

A Pillars
20462090 - upper clips - 3 per pillar
363137 - lower christmas tree retainers - 3 per pillar

Rear Interior Plastic
20370594 - plastic nut for large plastic screws - maybe 6 for the whole back interior

Not sure about rear interior christmas trees - anyone know?

Re: A-Pillar and Door Panel retaining clips / christmas tree part numbers wanted

Would someone like to compile a list of all the little pieces for our interior?

If someone can be directed to a diagram of all little tabs, screws, pins that are in/out side of our cars I'll find the part numbers and how many are needed. It'd be a nice sticky for interior replacement. Which I see is hard to find stuff.
