Re: fiberglass hood owners step inside!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just recieved my ss hood from hawks and i filled the space between the two halves of the hood where the scoop opening is with foam that expands as it dries. It has very good adhesive properties and will block the incoming air from pressurizing the inside of the hood. The foam is in a can and is used to fill cracks. I think it is strong enough to hold the two halves of the hood together. I bought it at home depot and they have a display with a couple of bricks held together by the foam to show how strong it is.

Re: fiberglass hood owners step inside!!!!!!!!!!!!

good question but I havent found anything yet. Also two part panel bonding from 3M would work great, or the same stuff they use to put in windshields, and on todays cars the windshield is becoming part of the structure.
