Im looking for an aftermarket hood cowl for my 87 Firebird. It has the standard Firebird Hood and I just want to add a lowing cowl to make the hood look a little more aggressive. Saw some 'Universal' type of cowls on the net, but not sure if they really will fit a Firebird hood. Any of you guys know where I might be able too look for one.Thanks.
go check jegs website. a company there a direct bolt on hood made for 82-92 firebird.trans ams with a 3" cowl. I will be buying one for mine as soon as i finish my engine swap. heres the link for ya.
I bought my 5 in from Hawks Third Gen a couple years ago, it is a pin-on not bolt-on but I love it and it makes my car look aggressive and I have gotten a lot of questions about what I have under the hood hiding under the cowl.
