i know i have the vin under my front windshield but where else are they hiding on my car? i found a sticker in the back hatch of my trunk under the carpet and on the door jams. anyone know where else they might be hiding?
they can be at random places on stickers . when i parted out my 89 i found them many places . checked other cars they were in different places , go figure . if you can't read the one in the windsheild corner ( not un-common ) they will also be on your title/registration & ins. card . good luck .
My car has stickers on the inside of most body panels, and in the door jambs. There's also one on the bottom of my hatch lid. I don't remember my 83 having these stickers though, so I'm not sure if all cars got them.

Don't trust any of the stickers around the car unless you know for a fact it's all original equipment. If the doors were ever replaced the info on the sticker might be wrong.
My '01 Silverado got hit in the driver's door 2 years ago, and now has a door sticker from the 2004 they used to replace it.
