The 3M Flexible Repair kit #5895 is the product I used. You can get it at most automotive and industrial paint suppliers, and it cost me $36 from Finishmaster. No special "caulking gun" is needed, as this kit contains two "toothpaste" tubes that you mix into equal parts. Working time is about 5 minutes, and its tacky in 15 minutes. Sanding can be done shortly thereafter. Awesome results. Time will tell of course, I didn't use the adhesion promoter, but otherwise prepped the surface according to the directions. I fixed three "punctures" in my rear bumper, and two tears in the front. | | | |
