I have an 84 Camaro, I would like to know if I can replace the Camaro front end with a Firebird front end, and so you will know without asking, I want to build a Knight Rider but have never liked the Firebird interior or rear end. I think it's possible but would kind of like to know for sure before I start spending time and money on it. Any info would be helpful.

iv seen it done befor but im not sure if everything just swaps right over
welcome to the site. Yes, it is possible. You would have to swap the hood, headlight assemblies (including some electrical work here for the pop-up lights), fenders, nose, impact bar and the part that the hood latch mounts to. For more detail, you can search for cambird transmaro and any other names that indicate the unnatrual cross-breeding of these two cars. As you might gather from my last sentence, the vast majority of people here consider the mixing of the front and rear of a camaro and firebird to be unattractive at best. Just to warn you, there are also many that are sick of knight rider clones. I've never seen someone want to combine both of these ideas in the same car. What exactly will be "knight rider" about it with a camaro interior and rear end? just an aftermarket knight rider front bumper cover? Get used to seeing this and this
one more thing... look at pictures of the shape of the wheel well on the Camaro and Firebird. The Firebirds have a round wheel well lip that blends smoothly into the body. The Camaro has a more squared off wheel well lip that has a visible crease where it meets the body. When on the same car, they are an obvious mismatch once you spot it. Another member here, Deadbird, pointed that out and once you notice it, there's no forgetting how silly they look together.

thanks for the info on the camaro firebird question, I will make sure to check into the wheel well thing before I get too far because I think that would annoy the hell out of me
