Some pics of the Trans AM and my parts car

Just lookin to get some opinions of what you guys think of my newest purchase... picked up an 84 trans am a few weeks ago and its pretty nice. I like the style of the 85-90's a little better and since the body on my 90 firebird is mint im gonna end up switching the noses and doors over and probably rear bumpers since the one on the 84 is kind of wavy.....Already swapped the seats out of the 90 since the old ones were torn up and broken and really looked like ****. Still gotta finish switching the console and dash and seat belts and installing the megashifter. Then jus gotta find a new headliner and the interiors done. I got my subs mounted in back of the T/A already just gotta wire it all when i get the console and head unit in. Also got a fully machined 350 block that will be going into the trans am when i get the money to finish it.... right now shes got a 305 with a slightly built 700r4 and flomasters and the guy i got it from told me it has a posi rear but i have yet to find out....lookin to do most of the work myself tryin to save some money....im also swithing the rims from the 90 onto the 84 so if anyones interested in the rims currently on the 84 let me know....ill have lots of other parts when im all said and done too.

heres the link to the pics of the cars the red one is the 90 that i already fixed all of the body on but need the parts for the 84 so im gonna sacrifice it since i cant afford to fix up both

Looks like a great car to restore. Here's a link to our Pontiac Firebird Headliner section if you would like to check out pricing. We have the ABS ones and also offer a scrape and cover kit,if you would like to recover the original.

Whoaaa, you're taking parts from a 90, and putting them on an 84? That's backwards!

your 84 looks great! It just needs an original bulge hood and you're set! Please reconsider swapping ground effects and the nose, yours appears to be in great shape and that style ground effects was only offered for 1984 and a limited number of 1983 Daytona Pace Cars. My 84 T/A has an LT1 and T56 in it, but I still prefer the look of the 84. it's less common so it stands out more.

If you do go through with it, atleast sell the parts to someone that could really use them rather than scrap them. Those ground effects and front bumper cover are getting harder and harder to come by and I think they're the best looking ones for a 3rd gen bird.
