Re: I found these door skins online, anyone use them?
I haven't used those products but have a question for you. Are you replacing you door skins becuase of rust or a dent. If just the bottom portion is rusty I know that someone makes just the lower few inches. Replacing entire door skins is a major pain. I helped my friend do it on his old Fairlane and let me tell you. Getting the lip to curl around the frame without damaging the skin is HARD. The tool he bought ended up putting little dents in the skin. We found a hockey puck and a hammer to be way easier.

BTW, I have a pair of white Firebird doors with no ground FX and only the door half of the hinge. I don't need them and could sell you them for $75ea primed or $50 as they sit (alot of surface rust, but repairable). Comes with pretty much everything. Power windows and locks, not sure if the work but PO said they did. PM if interested.

I have a body guy whose willing to do each door skin for $50. He has a tool thats like a can opener that goes around the door. We're replacing the skins, because of rusts on the drivers door, and an excessive amount of dings on the passenger door (Black car).

Wow, only $50? Well if that's the case then go for it. You'll spend more on hinge pins than labor. Those door skins will probably be fine. I doubt there's more than one manufacturer for them. You might search around for a better price though.
Good luck
Alex

Re: I found these door skins online, anyone use them?
I have been looking for a while for a set of good, new doors and these are the only ones I've saw. Mine are shot, and I want to replace the whole assembly. I found a nice set of used ones, rust free, but they were to expensive. Do you have anymore information on these? Wish I could look at them in person before purchasing...

Those are just the outer skin, There's a restoration company here in Windsor that can import this stuff for almost nothing.. I'll check out their prices tommorow.
