My hood does that too, not as bad as that though. And if I push it down it'll lok normal and stay that way.

Re: Hood, weird?

Right behind where the hinges mount on the body, there are the screw up/down cushions, that could be holding the hood up.

Or....

Is the hood fiberglass? If so, the struts for steel hoods are typically too strong & will push a hood up like that.

OR.....

Again if it is fiberglass, the vertical edges could be too tall & need trimming, to allow it to sit lower.

Of the 3, my $ is on the first possible cause I mentioned.

If yours stays down after pushing on it, my $ is on the struts.

Re: Hood, weird?

first take all the mounting brackets off and see if it fits without the hardware. if it does then its just a matter of moving brackets. if it doesn't then you are in bad shape and may have to change the hood sheet metal.

Nah, it's just better. It's not 100%, but the bolts all the way down, is there anything else i can do to bring it down?

Still up a bit, huh?

Take the adjusters all the way out. Maybe they are simply too thick for that hood? If so, you can live without them, or try to find thinner ones.

Re: Hood, weird?

I'll try that when I get home.
It's not fiberglass, I wish it was.
If it still doesn't go all the way down, is there another way to lower it?
