Re: Air Diffusion holes
Not even sure what your talking about, or why someone would want holes in their rear bumper.

Re: Air Diffusion holes
drag car's actually use them because your rear bumper act as a parachute at high speeds so putting hole's in them actually cut's a little time off your pass.

Re: Air Diffusion holes
Hmmm....How about a belly pan piece, to smooth under body air flow instead?
Cutting holes could air air escape, but I would think a better goal (IMHO) would be to not let it get up there to begin with.

Re: Air Diffusion holes
It should work i just haven't seen a third gen with them just wondering how it looks and the purpose is for the air to escape and not be held in the bumper i guess.

Re: Air Diffusion holes
Unless you removed your trunk the car does not need holes in the rear bumper. There is very little space where air could get caught up which means there is no benefit to be had.

Re: Air Diffusion holes
Just put a "belly pan" under the rear area & the problem is solved, without looking stupid.

I think your reading more into a "belly pan" than what I'm talking about doing.
No channels to route air out, Just a FLAT plate underneath to keep air from going up under the car.
Nobody would see the underside & know its even there, unless you tell them.

People should do that with EVERY car to fix the problem.
To me it just looks like a ghetto racer mod.
I have no problem visioning a third gen with them in my mind. I have a problem with getting the vision OUT of my mind. lol
