Factory style Wrap Around rear wing /spoiler

Hi guys
was wondering how much demand there was for the factory wrap around T/A style rear wing ?
Reason being is I have one at my shop
and my shop also makes molds of hard to find
OE parts to repop them out of fiberglass.

If there was enough interest in repop-ing this
wing, Id help start something for all of those that
have been looking for a good alternative.

Re: Factory style Wrap Around rear wing /spoiler

our fiberglass products are great
we currently produce about 3 hard to find
items for some Lexus and Subarus.
We've been in business for 19 yrs, heres one
of our websites to check out.
I think can do this part for about $250-300
plus shipping. That part would be hard because
of their size and shape, but still do-able.

thanks

price, quality and reputation. I don't know who makes the existing one, but I think Hawks Thirdgen Parts sells it along with other vendors. I think people are pretty happy with the quality of the one already available.

I'm sure there are other 3rd gen parts that people would love to have made in fiberglass that you could do rather than compete with an established product. It would offer more selection for customers and likely better profit margins for you

Re: Factory style Wrap Around rear wing /spoiler

The only real place for people to buy the wings is from hawks. Right now they are the only ones that even offer the wing that i know of, yet they offer it at $400. If you can do the same quality as them but for less you should have more work than you can handle.

Re: Factory style Wrap Around rear wing /spoiler

check out one of our sites

www.planetsvx.com

look at the Exterior section...
and youll see some of the items we make
for the subaru svx, and all of this stuff is
good in stock ready to ship for that car.
IF we do it, it wont be "made once its paid"
Ill have them sitting on the shelf ready to
ship.
Anyone really interested in one for the $350
price plus shipping, start a list here on this thread
and if the demand is actually there, Ill start making
them in the next 30 days.

Re: Factory style Wrap Around rear wing /spoiler

I havent made our mold yet, they cost me
about $2500, so nothing rock solid yet.
Im not going to until I can at least get at least
say, 6 confirmed orders.
That being said, I could manufacturer it with
better mounting ideas if everyone could agree
on a better way to do it, no problem.

It sounded like you just asked for a "new and improved" mounting design
