82 vs. 92..10' away--difference?

Honestly, can you tell the difference in years by the body-frontend lines. I have compared several pics of both years side by side and cannot see a noticeable difference between the two.....Is there one? Comparing apples to apples that is: (ie; Z28 to Z28)

there are little things here and there that you can tell the difference. Mainly the gfx and tailights. The actual body itself, I don't think there is too much difference...

I agree... Like HCR13 said, everything is the same except for the ground effects, tail lights, and if you're talking Z28's the spoilers will be different too.

The front end is a little differnt. The 82-84 is more angular. Other than that (and GFX/tail lights) all the body parts are the same.

Nose/hood/ground fx/tail lights/rear bumper....Night & day difference, to my eyes.

I could never mistake the difference, short of the parts being swapped out. Not too uncommon for a 82 to be reskinned as a later model).

Even seen Camaro noses on Firebirds & vice versa. Ugly, IMO, but done.

Spoiler could be differnt too, just thought of that.

I "updated" the 83 in my avatar to an 85+. That's usually the way the swap goes. I've never seen anyone go to the 82-84 style.
